NOTES:

Include the name of your band, a decent quality band photo, history in Anchorage, and 3 mp3′s of your music to booking@taprootalaska.com. Please do not send emails with attachments. Physical press kits are discouraged, and no phone calls will be accepted for new bookings. Please note that due to the high volume of submissions, not all emails will receive a response.

Information for bands AFTER they have been booked:

Artist must provide 10 copies of 11×17 or 12×18 posters no later than 2 weeks before the show. Posters can be sent to: 3300 Spenard Rd. Anchorage, AK 99503 Attn: Ellie Stefano. We will also need a good press photo, as well as a small blurb about you/your band to use for our advertising purposes, as well as links to your website/facebook/myspace. Artist must also provide the Venue with an updated stage plot, showing who will be playing, instrumentation, and where each band member will be on the stage.
Load – In / Sound Check time: Load – in 1:30pm, sound check 2pm.

Tap Root takes pride in giving all Artist(s) a professional sound check. This allows us to ensure that The Artist(s) are producing the highest quality auditory experience possible, something that is good for both the venue AND The Artist(s) marketing of their sound. The Artist(s) must be loaded in and ready for sound check no later than 2pm the day of their show. The Artist(s) MUST be on time for their load in / sound check per our house advance. Exceptions to this rule will be made in the case of certain acceptable extenuating circumstances, the validity of which will be determined by the Entertainment Director. Many of our shows have 2+ bands on the bill, therefore it is imperative that The Artist(s) are respectful and arrive at the time given. Failure to do so will forfeit The Artist(s) sound check.

We have one greenroom off stage right, but it does not have a private bathroom. Wifi is available throughout the venue and the password is posted in the green room.
We have a merch area in the front lobby. Artist must provide seller. Artist takes 100%
Please provide guest list names prior to doors to the house manager.
